Jamieson de Quincey

Editor-in-Chief

Jamieson de Quincey is the founder and editor-in-chief of Senex Press. After finishing her BA in Cinema Studies in 2014, she traveled Europe where she took courses at Oxford, the Sorbonne, and the University of Parma. She is the author of the forthcoming monograph Murder as a Work of Art: Violence and Depravity in 21st Century American Film and is a member of the King’s Chorus. She currently resides in Boston where she writes, teaches, and provides for the whims of a brazen and tyrannical cat named Critias.

Jeffrey Burnop

Jeffrey Burnop

Managing Editor

Jeffrey Burnop teaches courses in logic and ethics at Fenwick University. He is a Kant scholar whose research focuses on the intersection between Kant's moral philosophy and contemporary moral issues, particularly the ethics of labor. He has coauthored articles for peer reviewed journals and written a number of lengthy book reviews. His most recent article, "Swedenborg's Razor: Toward a Multiplication of Possible Worlds in the Realm of the Noumena," is currently under consideration at the Journal of Continental Philosophy of Religion.

A. Taiga Guterres is a researcher and writer on Jesuit education, theology, and psychology. His most recent book chapter, "Could I interest you in everything all of the time?: A Bionian analysis of social media engagement" is in The Routledge International Handbook of Psychoanalysis, Subjectivity, and Technology

Andrew Stojkovich

Andrew Stojkovich

Assistant Editor & Head of Media

Born in Chicago and raised in Colorado, Andrew Stojkovich is a writer, editor, and Spanish translator who studies philosophy at Boston University. He is a member of the BU Undergraduate Philosophy Association and BU Literary Society. As a writer, Andrew focuses primarily around first-hand ethical and aesthetic journalism. Andrew is currently working on his first book exploring the philosophy of 21st century nomadic living.

Christine Grosjean

Christine Grosjean

Editorial Intern

Christine Grosjean earned a dual BA in comparative literature in 2024. She spent her time as an undergraduate leading archival research, writing, and editing. Since her graduation, she has enjoyed pleasure reading and pursuing individual interests such as the modern reception of Miltonian epic. She is excited to be part of the Senex team.
